Throughout the Clubhouse page, you'll see tiles marked with the Virtual Game icon you see above. Currently in the Diamond Kinetics app, we have 3 Virtual Games: Barrel Speed Climber, Home Run Derby, and Trigger to Impact

Before getting started, make sure you're logged in and you've Paired your SwingTracker sensor!

Barrel Speed Climber:

  1. Select the Barrel Speed Climber tile in the Play Ball section.
  2. Select the Play button

Game Goal: See how many swings you can get as you test your control and power. Take as many swings as possible. If your new Barrel Speed after each swing is not greater than the previous swing, you will receive an out. After 3 outs, the game is over.

Earn Points: Points are earned based on the number of swings and streak zones (the number of consecutive successful swings that did not result in an out).

Related Metrics: The Diamond Kinetics metric that is used in Barrel Speed Climber is Barrel Speed.

Home Run Derby:

  1. Select the Home Run Derby tile in the Play Ball section.
  2. Select the Play button and pick your mode:
    • Classic ~ allows you select the distance the fence is set at.
    • Champion ~ moves the fence distance back, the more Home Runs you hit.
  3. To end or restart Home Run Derby, you can always press the Pause Button at the bottom of the screen.

Game Goal: Rack up as many points as possible before you get 5 outs!

Earn Points: Earn points based on distance and get bonus points for Home Runs. Challenge yourself with Champions mode where the more Home Runs you hit, the more the fence distance grows.

Related Metrics: The Diamond Kinetics metric that is used in Home Run Derby is Potential Exit Distance.

Trigger To Impact:

  1. Select the Trigger to Impact tile in the Play Ball section.
  2. Select the Play button

Game Goal: Get as many points as possible within 10 Swings. The Diamond Kinetics metric that is used in Trigger To Impact is Trigger To Impact. With each swing you earn points based on how quick your Trigger To Impact (in time, milliseconds) is compared to the set benchmark in time (220 ms).

Earn Points: Bonus points are awarded for improving your time and keeping a streak. Try for the "Elite Hands Bonus" by recording a Trigger To Impact time under 180 ms.
